Forest Suites Cologne, close to Cologne

Our rooms are in an apartment of modern architecture, close to the wood and 30km from Cologne. Around is a conservation area (Königsforst) and a bird sanctuary (Wahner Heide). As well we are close to the higways A3 und A4. The Köln-Bonn airport is in about 20 minutes driving distance, though we hear it only at few days in the year for about 30 minutes, when the wind blows the noise to us.

We have 3 single rooms in a six-room flat. Additionally a double-bed room that costs double. A cot for small children can be added.

Further rooms are shared by the guests: a nice living and leisure room with dining area directly beside the kitchen, and an area for TV and leisure. Additionally a room for ironing and household work. The apartment is simple and practical furnished for professional and leisure travelers. All rooms with window, except the two bathrooms.

You get a safe key to your room plus key for the apartment. WLAN access all over the flat.

For a ride to cologne there is a train station and a streetcar station in 5-10 minutes distance. When you need a transfer to or from the station, call us, at best the day before, at phone number deleted . We pick you up or bring you, daily for one time. Public transport brings you from there in 30-45 Minutes into the center of Cologne. Our transfer to and from the airport Cologne-Bonn lasts about 20 minutes. The Mediterrana, a recommendable sauna and swimming paradise (see in the web) is 15 minutes away.

The transfers are free between 9 am and 10pm. Transfer at other times cost 10€. If you are stranded in the late night in Cologne, a taxi might become neccessary, to reach home.

If you visit us by car, all important places are reachable in some minutes. For the inner city of Cologne plan in 10 minutes more for traffic jam. Many places lie in shorter distance on our side of the river Rhine:
* The Cologne Fair, Kölner Messe, also place of the Art Fair. 20 minutes.
* The airport Köln-Bonn. 20 minutes.
* The extensive (but expensíve) sauna and swimming place Mediterrana (https://gloveler.com/contact 15 minutes.
* The gourmet restaurant vendome in Schloss Bensberg (https://gloveler.com/contact 15 Minutes.
* The Krewelshof, a farm to experience, for kids a wide playground area (costs something), restaurant and farm shop. 10 Minutes.

We are well placed also for guests, who are oriented to Bonn. UNO, UNESCO, parts of german government ministries, International Offices, Foundations or NGOs, all at hand. 26km/30 minutes.

In our village to reach by a walk: Gastronomy, Supermarket, farmacy, doctors, postoffice.

The forest around us is good for jogging and bike tours. If you stay longer you may like to tour around in the Bergisches Land by bike or riding a horse.

We like international guests.

We need some rules:

Please respect the quietness in the night, there are other flats with inhabitants around.

Please report when some things in the flat went wrong. We are tolerant when small accidents happen.

Caution is 10€ per day, payable after you have seen the flat and before you get the keys. Except the platform who offers the room has other regulations. We completely return that amount to you, when you return the keys before you leave ...
* without mayor destructions in the flat
* without exceptionally bad behaviour
* without exceptional needs for cleaning.

You can check in only between 8.00 am and 10.00 pm. In any case you must call phone number deleted before you can get a first access to the apartment. The check In requires that you leave a working address, and let us copy your identity card or passport. Please only come, when you got our approval for a room.
