I live 2 mins away, so I can be there quickly to help, and in case you need more people to stay, I have another apartment right on the other side of the Chain Bridge (1 bus stop)
Really quiet and safe neighborhood. Right below the Buda Castle, right at the entrance of the Budapest Tunnel, at the feet of the beautiful Chain Bridge and 5 mins walking distance from the Fisherman's Bastion and St Matthias Church, with the best view of the city. These are among the top 10 most famous places of the city. Excellent transportation with trams and buses, but everything is within walking distance. Nice cafes and restaurants on the more quiet Buda side, but just a walk across the bridge towards the Basilica and you find yourself in the busiest part of downtown full of bars and pubs too. Also there is a small convenient store is open until 11pm in the basement of the building, and a non-stop eatery on the other side of the tunnel.
There is no free parking in the entire city (downtown), but there is a street on the other side of the tunnel, where you can park your car for free!
Trams and buses stop basically right at the entrance of the building, and the inclince railway that takes you up to the Castle area is literally on the other side of the road, where you leave the building.
There is a double bed that can be separated if needed, and a pull-out sofa for another 2 guests.
I can also help you with a half price transfer from and to the airport if needed! Let me know!
Ask freely about anything.
