Living in the historical „Bergschloss“, above the city and at the feet of local mountain „Mercury“
The historical Bergschloss was originally built as a park hotel in 1910. It is situated in an elevated & quite part of Baden-Baden. From the house-owned tower you will have an open view over the city, the Batterrock & the Mountain Mercury.
The lovely holiday apartment is like all Ekatarina Apartments – well located, spacious and stylishly furnished. It is equipped with everything necessary for comfortable living, enjoyment and relaxation. Perfect for a holiday.
The Bergschloss is situated high above the city in an elegant villa quarter. Starting right in front of the door are extensive hiking tours through the nearby countryside with meadows, forests and hills of the nearby Black Forest. You can climb the famous Mercury Mountain on foot or take the cable car. In any case, you will be rewarded with a wonderful view in all directions. On foot or with the bus it takes about 10 min. to arrive at the two town’s thermal baths, the modern Caracalla Spa and the historic Roman-Irish „Friedrichsbad“, the center of the city and the elegant and stylish shopping area „Lichtentaler Allee“. Baden-Baden has it all to be a famous modern cultural city and health spa resort: the „Festspielhaus“, Europe’s second largest opera and concert hall, art museums, philharmonic orchestra, casino…. the city captivates by its natural beauty and harmony. Even the Romans already knew about the soothing power of the city’s thermal water. Carpe diem, seize the day and enjoy it!
You will receive all relevant further information from the key holder, the person who will open the apartment for you and will hand you over the key. Kindly observe the rules of the house, which are placed on the table inside the apartment.
There is parking space available in the building opposite the apartments. The cost is 10 EUR per day. Please confirm if you wish to rent the parking space and pay in cash to the keyholder on arrival.
Otherwise there is free parking along Bernhardstr. and surrounding roads.

Please confirm your arrival and departure time. The keyholder, will be on time at the Apartment. Please call to confirm aprox 1 hour before arrival.
Please read carefully the house rules which you will find on the table in the apartment. This is a block of apartments, so it is important to be respectful of the neighbours. Please always remember to close the main entrance door.
The key holder will give you information about rubbish separation for recycling.
2 buses stop right in front of the house: 204 and 205. Both will bring you right into the center of town. With bus 205 you can also reach the Festspielhaus & the train station (20 min). From there bus 285 brings you to the Euro-Airport Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden (30 min).
You will find plenty of free parking along the surrounding roads.
If you wish, we can pick you up at the train station (18 EUR) or at EuropaAirport Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden (40 EUR). Please ask for it in advance.
