Seafront with water access & Valetta view

You will stay directly in an historical area next to the Fort St. Angelo (where the last Knight of Malta has his residence) but you will have all the modern comfort. Directly at the apartment there are several ladders that allow easy access to the sea and it is fantastic every morning to swim even swim in the sea before breakfast. The view from the terrace is breathtakingly beautiful, you look at Valetta, the open sea, the Kalkara Peninsula and in the evening the surrounding forts and bastions are theatrically lit. One can the large luxury yachts and cruise ships look like they come to port and run out and sits at special events held in the Grand Harbour (fireworks festival, Rolex Middle sea race) in the very first row.
The area is full of historic buildings, great architecture and museums.
The apartment is located just a few minutes walk from all amenities, such as a bakery, grocery stores, pharmacy present with doctors every day, dentist, hairdresser, beautician, taxi services, Ferry and all the historical sites and museums such as the Inquisitor Palace Museum, the Malta War Museum, Malta National Maritime Museum, Auberge the Knights of Malta, Couvre Porte, St. Lawrence Church, St. Dominic Church, Saint Skolastika monastery, Fort St. Angelo and the picturesque Vittoriosa Waterfront.
In Vittoriosa is every tuesday the traditional market or "Monti" as it is known by the locals. This is a huge open-air market, which can be visited within a few minutes walk from the apartment. On saturday there is always a farmers market and an antiques market / flea market every sunday morning between 6-12 AM.
In the evenings it is to stroll very romantic through the narrow streets and alleys of the old town. You can chat with the locals, most of them are fluent in English and Italian and can finish every day you at another restaurant or one of the wine bars.
The ferry takes only 8 minutes to Valetta and runs every half hour until midnight (June-October) in both directions. For only 1,50 euro you can use the ferry ticket and the lift to the Barrakka Gardens.
The nearest bus stop is 5 minutes away.
There is in the apartment a strong Internet connection so that you have in every room wifi available. There are more than 80 international TV channels mostly in English and Italian but also some German, Russian and for sure Maltese channels. DVD player and Playstation serve for rainy winter days as a nice change.
The selection here includes one bedroom (with two single beds-can be pushed together as doublebed) and a shared bathroom. Next to the bedroom (13m2) and the bathroom you get more than 80m2 of sharing available space (kitchen, hallway, living room and terrace).
Private transfer from the airport to the apartment costs 20 euro (taxi or private transfer companies). The cheapest way to get to the apartment from airport is the bus for 2 Euro. You take amy bus to Valetta (20 minutes) and take the bus number 2 or 4 to Birgu (also 20 minutes).
Alternatively, you can take a rental car, a garage parking space is provided free of charge.
Check in after 3pm, check out at 10am.
