Tips for hosts

Before check-in your guest:

• Please contact your guest if he/she doesn’t contact you. Please clarify the arrival time and other important information for the arrival.
• After your accommodation is booked, you can accept or cancel the reservation within 24 hours. If you do not accept it within this period, the reservation is automatically cancelled. If you haven't accepted the booking within 24 hours you can offer it again after the time period to the guest whereupon he has to confirm.

During check-in of your guest:

• We encourage our hosts to verify their guest’s identity on arrival. The guest should provide you with the booking number and some form of identification, like a passport. Only if this data is consistent with his/her profile data should you accommodate your guest.
• Please make sure your guest pays the accommodation price in the local currency upon arrival.
• As standard procedure, we do not require that you give your guests house keys. Only if you rent out your whole accommdation, should you give your guest a set of keys. However, if you do not want to provide your guest with keys, please arrange times to let him or her in. You can specify your preferred rules for entering your accommodation in the description field of your offer.

During the stay:

• Although we are sure that no danger exists in offering your place, you should not leave objects of value or cash unattended or in plain sight within your accommodation.
• If, contrary to expectations, you face infringements or even suspect criminal action in your accommodation, please call the local police immediately.
