Description
Here you can book a four bed familiy room. Children under 6 years stay free. Chidren between 6 and 12 years pay 20 EUR per night. If you travel with children, write me before your book, so I can calculate your individual family discount.
On request you can get a delicious breakfast. Bed linen and towels are included. In the cellar you find several washing machines that can be used for a small fee. Wireless Internet access (wifi) is provided in the whole apartment at extra cost.
The family friendly Guest House Jacoby is more than a normal guest house. The owner kindly designed an individual accommodation experience in the forth floor of this modern building with much charm. The hostel consists of two apartments, one with five rooms the other with seven rooms. The rooms are heated by an underfloor heating which functions as an air conditioning in the summer. Guests share two bathrooms per apartment. Each bathroom is very spacious and handicapped friendly.
Both parts of the family friendly hotel have a large kitchen and living room. Guests can share their experiences there with a glass of wine and piano music played on one of the pianos.
The comfortable balconies with mountain view offer the opportunity to end the day watching a beautiful sunset.

Sights and transport nearby
The hostel is situated right in front of the Geschwister Scholl Platz Tram Station (Line 5). You can reach Freiburg's main sights like the old town, the Munster or the University quickly wuth the tram. The central station, the hospital and the soccer stadium can also be reached with public transport.
For cars there are free parking lots in front of the house. Bicycles and motor bikes can be parked in the courtyard.
There is a beautiful park with a lake only 10 minutes by foot. Guests with children can enjoy the closeby possibilities to play in the nature. Pets are not allowed.

"Die Fotos, die bei der Buchung zur Verfügung standen, entsprachen überhaupt nicht der Wirklichkeit. Die abgebildeten Zimmer waren schön, aber wir landeten als Familie zu viert in einem Zimmer mit ca. 11m2 !! (3,30mx3,30m), in welchem 2 IKEA-Doppelstockbetten standen und das total lieblos eingerichtet und viel viel zu eng war. Der Koffer konnte nicht geöffnet werden, wenn man gleichzeitig das Zimmer verlassen wollte. Der sehr schmale Balkon war gerade mal zum Hinaustreten gut, keine Spur von den Sitzmöbeln, die auf den Fotos versprochen waren. Das Frühstückszimmer (Frühstück war sehr gut) befand sich nicht in der Wohnung, sondern in einer anderen Wohnung in derselben Etage. Das Badezimmer, in welchem die Dusche immer überlief, mussten wir uns mit den anderen Bewohnern der Pension teilen, was auch so bei der Buchung beschrieben war. Der Preis für diese Übernachtung waren 156 euro!! Diese Tatsache lässt mich heute noch wütend werden. Trotz Beschwerden gab es bei der Vermieterin Ulla Jacoby keinerlei Preisminderung - geschweige denn einen winzigen Anschein von Einsicht. Das Gästehaus liegt im Bezirk Rieselfeld, 79111 Freiburg im Breisgau, in der Rieselfeldallee . . ."
