The secluded and light-flooded room is central located in the heart of “Friedrichshain” which is one of the vibrant districts in Berlin and lies in the formerly east part of town.

The clearly structured, light and furnished room lies in a three room apartment/ (74 m2) on the 4th floor in the lively area of “Friedrichshain” right on the “Simon-Dach-Str.”. Because the room is located to the backyard you will find a silent and idyllic surrounding although you live right in the center of Berlin.

We're a child-friendly house. You are welcome to bring your child along and it may sleep in a crib in your own room. My daughter born in spring 2011 will also be around. The kitchen offers everything you need for every-days life and can be used as well.

We offer Wlan, a 47 inch flat screen or a web compatible PC inclusive.

The entrance to the flat on “Grünberger Str. 61” lies on the “Simon-Dach-Str.” right on the corner “Grünberger Str.”/ “Simon-Dach-Str.” next to the restaurant plus/minus +-. You'll find the correct address above the gate.

In the area you'll find plenty restaurants from all over the world and an endless range of cafes, bars, clubs and many other cultural options (for example: “Astra”, “O2 Arena”, galleries, young designers, baby cafes and playgrounds). Several small boutiques, designers, Labels and Artists of different specifications invite you to poke and goggle or to take a look and enjoy.

In walking distance is the “East Side Gallery” which is the worlds longest “Mauergalerie” (about 1316m). This is a painted part of the Berlin-wall which divided the formerly east-part from the west-part of town.

The flat is right next to the “Boxhagener Platz” which is an old historic square to be reached in about three minutes by foot. On Saturdays there will be a farmer's market with local and national offers while on Sundays you're invited to join one of the famous and notorious flea markets of town.

In about ten minutes waking distance you will reach aether the S-Bahnhof “Warschauer Straße”, “Ostbahnhof” or “Ostkreuz” (with elevator) and it'll take you for example about ten more minutes to go to “Alexanderplatz”. Right in front of the door where we live you'll also find buses, tubes or “Straßenbahnen” to take you to any part and place of town.
