AN APARTMENT WITH CHARM AND HISTORY
The apartment has been renovated and furnished in a contemporary and modern style by a famous architect. It was published in prestigious national and international decoration magazines and has been shown in two programs form the local TV. The building is of the seventeenth century. The renovation has discovered the original features of the apartment, mixing Catalan vaults, old beams and mud bricks, all original and combined with avant-garde elements and materials.
Living in this apartment is an exciting experience. The architecture was designed to create space through the movement of wooden panels, creating truly exquisite volumes and spaces.
You can change the shape of the apartment, with easy movements of its panels, creating spaces to suit you, so that you can either have closed rooms or open spaces, depending on what you want at any time.
The lighting in this apartment was treated with care, creating shadows and highlights in all the rooms. The apartment has a perimeter lighting all over the walls to give prominence to the viewed brick from 1800. This lighting gives a sense of depth in all areas.
At the top, there is a wonderful light that shows the Catalan vaulted ceilings and the exposed and restored old beams.
All doors and windows are original from the nineteenth century and have been restored and fitted with great care and detail.
Inside the apartment we created a small floating garden that connects the inner courtyard.

GOING OUT: HISTORY, CUISINE, ART, BEACH, NIGHTLIFE
The apartment is in the center of Barcelona. From the balcony you can see less than 20 meters away the main facade of the cathedral of Santa Maria del Mar, the protagonist of the bestseller THE CATHEDRAL OF THE SEA. Of course, if you like history and medieval period, this is your place.
